Kitchen with cooking island SieMatic Urban

This SieMatic kitchen in the Lifestyle Urban has been designed for a living space in a former bookstore in the west of the Netherlands.

The residents were enthusiastic about a kitchen image in the Lifestyle brochure Urban. When they saw this kitchen 'live' in the showroom of SieMatic at the Vondelpark, they were sold.

With this kitchen display as a starting point, one of our kitchen advisors created a custom design and kitchen planning.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, both private and business: besides the family daily use, the kitchen is also used to create new recipes and culinary reports. The lady of the house is a well-known Dutch food blogger Colette Dike from Fooddeco.

The kitchen design and finishing’s

A large 'living island' occupies the central space, with plenty of work space for cooking and socializing. The herb garden and the cutting board integrated in the worktop are striking. The eye-catcher is the specially tailored ceiling kitchen rack with a built-in extractor hood from Wave.

At the rear of the island there is a sitting space and 'open' drawers that emphasize the homely character of the design.

Against the wall are the high cabinets with the integrated Gaggenau cooking appliances and fridge. In addition, an extra work space and a special space for a coffee machine are foreseen.
