Italian interior design as a source of inspiration for a new SieMatic designer kitchen

If you have an affinity with design, then you certainly have an edge when it comes to furnishing your home. The owner of this recently completed, detached villa in Amstelveen often travelled to Milan during his career as an agent in interior textiles. There, he naturally became acquainted with the most beautiful interior design brands. The love and appreciation of Italian interior design was therefore the ultimate starting point for the interior and the new designer kitchen.

Everything starts with a good kitchen design

For the overall interior design, it was already clear that Italian furniture and timeless, subdued colours would determine the atmosphere in the house. A spacious Flexform seat and stylish doors by Rimadesio were chosen. In terms of lighting and decoration, too, the resident applied various 'made in Italy' elements.

For the designer kitchen, a 'sporty chic', elegant and timeless design was sought. The owner was already familiar with the SieMatic brand, but the collection seemed a bit highbrow. In addition to the fact that the kitchen is not very large, the fact that it is not very large means that it is not easy to find a place in the kitchen. And it was on spot!

From functional kitchen to stylish piece of furniture

The basis of this designer kitchen - a variant of the Pure Collection - consists of a generous cooking island, a tall, semi-recessed wall unit and an integrated coffee pantry. In addition, a kitchen unit was later installed in the adjoining utility room.

For the worktops, a composite material was used in a sand colour, which not only matches the floor but also provides a nice contrast to the dark wooden fronts. The half-open cupboard at the end of the island is a striking feature. Together with the design of the coffee pantry, it adds a certain airiness to the whole. It also serves another purpose, that of a stylish piece of furniture.

Exclusive kitchen design: everything depends on Customer Excellence

Customers are becoming increasingly critical, so the emotional attachment to a brand is becoming more important. SieMatic pays great attention to providing an excellent customer experience. In this case, it started with the first visit to SieMatic at Vondelpark. "The fact that a good design was already presented there meant that I did not have to visit a competitor. Then that 'promise' still had to be kept. With a smooth delivery and installation, as well as a solution-oriented after-care, SieMatic kitchen consultants really lived up to the high expectations I had of them. For example, without any additional costs, a shelf in the scullery was reinforced due to the fact that the washing machine and dryer in the cabinet proved to be too heavy. They also delivered a completely new front for the dishwasher because I had discovered a very small bump on the surface. Now everything is ready and we enjoy our new SieMatic kitchen every day!"
